Our Initiatives

1. Community Peace Clubs

We are establishing Community Peace Clubs across schools, tertiary institutions, and communities, creating safe spaces where young people and residents are engaging in dialogue, building leadership skills, and promoting non-violence. Through regular activities and peer-driven initiatives, the clubs are nurturing responsible citizens who are actively fostering harmony and preventing conflict in their immediate environments.

2. Women for Peace Network

We are empowering women through the Women for Peace Network, positioning them as peace influencers and community stabilisers. By providing platforms for training, dialogue, and leadership engagement, the network is enabling women to advocate for unity, mediate local disputes, and take active roles in community decision-making processes, thereby strengthening grassroots peace efforts.

3. Peace Education Workshops

We are conducting Peace Education Workshops that are equipping participants with critical skills in conflict resolution, mediation, emotional intelligence, and cultural intelligence. These workshops are bringing together youth, leaders, and educators who are learning practical tools for managing tensions, resolving disputes, and fostering peaceful relationships within their communities.

Ongoing

4. Research & Documentation Hub

We are operating a Research & Documentation Hub that is producing peace reports, conflict assessments, policy briefs, and research findings grounded in field data and community insights. The Hub is systematically documenting peace initiatives, analysing emerging conflict trends, and generating knowledge that is guiding PHII’s programmes and supporting national peacebuilding efforts.

Ongoing

5. Peace Magazine

We are publishing the Peace Magazine quarterly, highlighting peace narratives, interviews, research findings, and stories of reconciliation. Through this publication, we are amplifying inspiring voices, promoting shared values, and enhancing public awareness on peacebuilding, ultimately encouraging communities to embrace unity and coexistence.
